Your Day at Lowe's

Pro Sales Specialists are active, moving throughout the store or garden center, answering phones, and talking to Pro customers. You will spend most of your time communicating with Pro customers, discussing project needs and helping solve business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Understand Pro business and customer needs to locate, demonstrate, select, quote, and order merchandise.

Work with Lowe's Pro Supply to order products through the Fulfillment and Delivery network.

Communicate Service, Brand, and Value benefits of the Fulfillment and Delivery network.

Use CRM to build relationships, streamline processes, increase sales, and promote Lowe's Pro Supply services.

Assist customers in signing up for MVPs Pro rewards, partnership program, Pro Credit solutions, and Pro wallet.

Provide information on stock, special order merchandise, features, applications, and warranties related to Lowe's programs.

Cross‑train in other store areas to deliver best customer service and understand Pro buying trends.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

1–2 years sales experience with ability to identify and sell products based on customer needs.

1–2 years customer service experience, including locating products, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships, and thanking customers.

Ability to sit, bend, stand, move around the store, and lift items up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.

Proficiency with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.

Obtain sales‑related licensure or registration if required by law.

Preferred Qualifications

1–2 years sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.

Experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including special sales orders.

Professional certification related to the department being considered.

Bi‑lingual skills.

Travel Requirements

This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support of neighboring stores.

Working Conditions

Environmental factors vary by location. Work will be performed both inside and outside, with exposure to varying weather, noise, and physical activity. Lifting guidelines apply; associates must follow rules limiting single lifts to 75 lbs; powered equipment used with proper training.
