Refund Pension Analyst
LaSalle Network is partnering with a non-profit in Chicago, IL who is hiring a Refund Pension Analyst to support a high-volume pension operations team during a critical period. This contract Refund Pension Analyst role is ideal for someone who thrives in detail-driven work, isn't afraid to ask questions and can confidently flag discrepancies. With an urgent need and immediate impact, this role offers exposure to pension benefits processing, audits and cross-functional collaboration. What's the job? Review refund applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Calculate and process pension refunds and benefits in a timely manner Conduct peer reviews of Eligibility Reports, Control Reports and documentation Review disability applications and supporting materials Perform beneficiary research and distribute death benefit applications Audit returned documents for compliance with plan provisions Communicate with members and beneficiaries to resolve missing information Evaluate legal documents (trusts, estates, Powers of Attorney) and assess impact on benefits Partner with Member Services on escalated or complex cases Support internal and external audit teams Assist with special projects as needed What's needed?
