Certified Medication Aide
Join us at Open Interviews every Monday from 10am-12pm, Walk-Ins welcome, No appointment needed Full-Time: 2:30pm-11:00pm XYZ Rotating schedule includes weekends/holidays as scheduled Texas Medication Aide Certification Required As a Certified Medication Aide at Belmont Village, you will assist residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community with their daily medications, monitor their responses and maintain accurate electronic medical records under the supervision of a licensed Nurse. The Certified Medication Aide will support our licensed nurses with administrative tasks as needed. This is an excellent position for candidates who aspire to someday be a licensed nurse. The ideal Certified Medication Aide candidate has a valid Texas Medication Aide Certification, is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age. Administer Medications and Provide Personal Care: Follow physician's orders and community guidelines for administering routine medications and providing assistance with ADL care as needed Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse. Vital Sign Monitoring: Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects. Shift Communication: Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions. Customer Satisfaction: Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided resulting in overall customer satisfaction Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines. High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility C.N.A.
