Be a dependable teammate who supports the crew and respects all members of the team. What Youll Do: Take direction from the foreman and complete assigned daily tasks. Use tools such as hammers, levels, squares, circular saws, and impact drills. Read and follow basic blueprints. Fabricate and alter parts at job sites using shears, hammers, punches, or drills. Drill and punch holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets. Secure metal panels, connect steel mainframes and columns, and install siding and roofing. Operate mobile elevated work platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts). Cut insulation, frame doors and windows, and install fiberglass building insulation. Prepare and position materials for installation. Keep job sites clean and safe through debris control and organized work areas. Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule. What You Bring: Structural construction background (wood framing, steel, post and beam, etc.). Ability to lift/carry 75+ lbs, climb ladders up to 40+ ft, and work at heights. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
