Assembly Technician
CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for Assembly Technicians for a client located in Bloomfield, CT! This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing company and motivated team! 1st shift, 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. The position pays $18/hr. to start but may pay more based off previous relevant experience. Responsibilities: Read and understand prints, symbols and schematics, work instructions, prints, sketches and verbal instructions. Check all work orders, work instructions and job files for accuracy and ensure jobs are sent on time. Assemble jobs mechanical in nature, including but not limited to: drilling, tapping, securing components using wrenches, screwdrivers, hand crimpers etc. Build simple wire harnesses, stripping of wire and crimping of connectors. Inspect and test all jobs to ensure all components function correctly. Wrap fittings with Teflon tape. Complete necessary documentation for each job.
