Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA! As a mechanical engineer, you will: Design mechanical structures and hardware using 3D CAD modeling tools Create mechanical drawings and manage drawing lifecycle using data management software Assist with engineering test efforts Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure robust engineering design Basic Qualifications: Active Top Secret clearance Experience with PTC Creo, or similar 3D CAD modeling software (e.g. Solidworks or NX) Experience creating, releasing, and/or managing mechanical drawing releases and revisions Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Desired Skills: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience with additive manufacturing and/or 3D printing Experience with mechanical engineering testing Familiar with PTC Windchill Familiar with aerospace industry specifications (ASME, ASTM, SAE, etc.) Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
