no lunch shifts Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
2+ years as Executive Chef in a high-volume ($6M+ annual sales) fine dining environment with tenures of no less than 2 years in previous roles Strong background in Italian cuisine; menu development, execution, and sourcing Proven ability to manage kitchen operations at scale, including labor and food cost controls Authorized to work in the U.S. Experienced in training, mentoring, and retaining kitchen talent Strong organizational and administrative skills Executive Chef Must Haves
Leads from the front- hands on, visible, and engaged during prep and service Upholds a clean, professional, organized, and system-driven kitchen Creates and enforces prep lists, labeling, and rotation procedures Conducts consistent line checks and quality control across all stations Brings a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to daily service and team leadership Balances quality and speed in a high-volume setting without compromising standards Preferred Background & Skills
Culinary degree or formal training (preferred but not required) Experience working in Italian restaurant concepts is a must Experience working in the New York market or comparable fine dining scenes Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Familiarity with BOH platforms for ordering, inventory, and scheduling
