Fire Suppression Technician (Special Hazards)

We're seeking a skilled Fire Suppression Technician (Special Hazards) to join our West Springfield, MA team. If you have a passion for precision, teamwork, and safetyand you're ready to make a real impact in the fire protection industrywe want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Install, inspect, test, and maintain special hazard fire suppression systems, including but not limited to: Clean agent systems (e.g., FM-200, Novec 1230), CO? systems, Foam suppression systems, Water mist systems, Explosion suppression or detection systems Verify proper system operation through functional and acceptance testing Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues or deficiencies Ensure all work complies with applicable NFPA codes (e.g., NFPA 2001, 12, 750), local regulations, and company standards Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades on-site to support successful project execution. Document inspections, maintenance, and service activities in accordance with company and client requirements. Being a positive and professional representative of Encore while dealing with customers, directly and indirectly Must have the ability to work alone and in team setting. What You'll Need to Do It: Past experience in Fire Suppression required Must be comfortable working at heights and able to lift at least 50 lbs MA CC-47 Engineer Systems certification required MA CC-48 Pre-Engineered Fixed Systems certification preferred MA CC-46 Portable Fire Extinguishers certification preferred MA CC-41 Self-Serve Facilities certification preferred Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the state of Rhode Island Salary commensurate with experience with opportunity for a results-driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness in role. Expected hourly range between $30 - $60 per hour.
