Client Relations Consultant

The Client Relations Consultants interact with clients daily, serving their needs, answering any questions they may have, and initiate pro-active outbound calling efforts. Client Relations Consultants must be knowledgeable of complex USBAM products, associated services, and impart this knowledge to our clients. Typically, Client Relations Consultants are the first line of contact for client service requests. Client Relations Consultants should understand financial markets and how markets impact our products, services, and clients. Client Relations Consultants work extensively and collaboratively with other members of the Investor Client Services Team and the Relationship Management Team, with the goal of supplying superior client service that will enhance the client experience and grow assets in our programs and products. This position is expected to interact directly with clients, primarily through phone and email. Essential Functions: Provide superior service to clients for requests received via inbound calls, email, or secure web-portal Proactively reach out to clients via phone and/or email to address day-to-day account funding requirements or account updates Actively participate in campaigns associated with marketing efforts, administrative clean-up efforts Awareness of state specific investment statutes and how they may affect a client's investment options Provide an overview of USBAM's products and services to clients and prospects Actively participate and contribute to weekly departmental conference calls, which include client development, consultant relations, compliance, marketing, communications, and finance. Periodic participation and representation of the firm during client meetings. Facilitate and coordinate the opening of new client accounts, including transition meetings with client development and clients. Facilitate and coordinate the closing of terminated accounts. Initiating, coordinating, and facilitating portfolio certifications to meet client/consultant regulatory (SOX) requirements. Basic Qualifications:

Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Typically three or more years of client services experience Preferred Skills/Experience:

Thorough knowledge of performance reporting terms and calculations, investment terminology, portfolio accounting, and some level of financial accounting - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously - Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data - Proven customer service/relations skills - Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications - FINRA Series 6 and 63 license required The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. Pay Range: $66,640.00 - $78,400.00
