Assembly Supervisor

The Assembly Supervisor at TE Connectivity supervises the activities of employees engaged in production and assembly and liaises with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Oversees day-to-day operations to manufacture products to the highest quality standards, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standards. This role will be located at our Mansfield, OH facility supporting TE's Aerospace, Defense & Marine business unit - and is 3rd shift: 9:30PM - 6:00AM. Note: This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). You must be a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. lawful Permanent Resident, person granted Asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a Refugee. Job Requirements: Defining goals, developing plans to meet schedules, resolving technical issues, and supervising day-to-day operations. Translating customer requirements into manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of the products. Allocating resources to meet the production requirements, achieving maximum capacity, identifying the training needs of the resources, and ensuring that the resources are appropriately trained. Driving and monitoring the continuous improvement programs and initiatives and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and specifications. What Your Background Should Look Like: Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline, and 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
