The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: What You Will Do: Write new CMM programs and refine existing ones (offline), preferably using PC-DMIS or equivalent Develop strategies for high-precision aerospace component inspection Troubleshoot programming errors, workholding issues, and optimize inspection flow Create and maintain inspection process documentation and operator instructions Interface with manufacturing, engineering, and inspection teams Perform inspections on parts (including first article, prototype, and production) Validate programs, analyze measurement data, and generate reports Participate in (or pass) customer-administered CMM / GD&T certification Analyze and improve existing CMM inspection programs and strategies What You Will Bring: Hands-on use of Blue Light / optical scanning systems Working experience with LK CAMIO (programming or execution) Experience inspecting complex aerospace components (engine, turbine, or high-tolerance parts) Proficiency with PC-DMIS or similar CMM software Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and inspection theory Experience with CAD /CAM (e.g. NX, DEMIS, MODUS) is beneficial Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Pay Range: $72,000 - $85,000 a year Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. This role is considered an on-site position located in Columbus, GA. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel requirements:
