Human Resource Specialist
A-Line Staffing is seeking a
Human Resource Specialist
to support day-to-day Human Resources operations and employee lifecycle processes. This role assists with a variety of HR programs, procedures, and administrative functions to ensure compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and intermediate data entry skills, experience with document auditing, and a foundational understanding of payroll and benefits. This position requires attention to detail, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to work collaboratively with employees, managers, and HR partners.
Location:
Onsite / Hybrid (based on business needs)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, between
7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
(some flexibility required)
Pay Rate:
$19.00/hr
Key Responsibilities Assist the Human Resources department with the execution of HR programs, processes, and procedures
Process employee lifecycle transactions and follow up to ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate
Provide employees and managers with information regarding established HR policies and people processes
Refer complex issues to HR Consultants as appropriate
Assist with post-offer and post-employment documentation, including
I-9 verification using E-Verify
Support drug screening, background checks, post-accident, and random testing programs as needed
Prepare, process, and maintain employment forms and documentation on the Corporate Intranet
Assist with benefits administration and wellness programs as needed
Support document control and auditing activities
Process employment verification requests in accordance with company guidelines
Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
Prepare reports and correspondence as directed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of
payroll and benefits administration
Prior Human Resources or administrative support experience
Familiarity with I-9 processing and E-Verify systems
Experience working in a fast-paced office or HR environment
