Job Description The Shipping & Receiving Clerk position verifies counts and creates receivers for incoming material. The S & R Clerk enters into appropriate computer system as well as prepares material identification tags as needed. The S & R Clerk organizes/kits incoming materials to work order specific areas as needed. The S & R Clerk may identify inventory shortages and pull work orders to replenish necessary stock. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-3 years of experience operating a forklift required; overhead crane experience a huge plus. General knowledge of ancillary lifting devices preferred. General knowledge of carbon steel/stainless steel valves, fittings, and long product (pipe, angle, flat bar, etc.). Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance using measuring devices and drawings.
