Personal Banker Position
Personal Bankers are enthusiastic/self-motivated individuals with proven success at delivering solutions that help our clients achieve financial freedom and peace of mind. Personal Bankers achieve this vision by building professional relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their financial needs, to deliver valuable products and services to meet those needs and to complete the account opening process accurately. Successful Personal Bankers are enthusiastic about delivering an excellent client experience; understanding and promoting bank products and services to individuals and companies; conducting accurate banking transactions in a fast-paced environment and working with a team to achieve individual and group goals. Responsibilities include providing "fast, easy, and personal" service consistent with company client service standards, promoting consumer/small business banking products and services to clients and prospects, achieving specific sales goals, developing and maintaining relationships with business partners, opening checking and savings accounts, processing client transactions, demonstrating digital expertise, referring products and services to other business lines, educating and resolving client concerns, conducting operational tasks related to regulatory compliance, protecting client and bank assets, implementing banking center operations procedures, maintaining current knowledge and compliance with regulations and bank policies, understanding and communicating the company's mission, vision, and values, completing monthly training, and working at the worksite during regular business hours. Compensation and benefits include a minimum hourly rate of $18.50, eligibility for additional incentive compensation, and a benefits package for full-time associates. Skills required include strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, sales skills, basic math skills, proficiency in office skills/equipment, and ability to be NMLS licensed and registered. Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, associate degree or higher preferred, previous banking experience preferred, 6 months in a client service experience role preferred, 6 months sales experience preferred, minimum 6 months cash handling experience preferred, ability to be NMLS licensed and registered, and obtain a state notary license. Physical requirements include standing most of the workday, moving about the workspace, using office equipment, deciphering computer screens or written documents, expressing or exchanging ideas, receiving and understanding detailed information, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
