This position is designed for travel assignments, perfect for cardiac sonographers who thrive in varied clinical settings and enjoy exploring new locations. Responsibilities
Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography examinations. Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images for cardiologist review. Assess and record patient history pertinent to cardiac testing and explain procedures to patients. Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to interpret results and optimize patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure adherence to hospital, state, and federal imaging protocols and quality standards. Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team. Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field. Current RDCS or RCS certification required (state licensure where applicable). Minimum 1 year of experience performing echocardiograms. Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting cardiac images. Excellent communication, critical-thinking, and patient-care skills. Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities. Benefits
