Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory disorders under licensed medical direction. Essential Responsibilities: Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies. (55%) Completes documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness e.g., charting, billing, IPOC, patient/family education. (20%) Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies. (20%) Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed. (5%) Performs other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications: Minimum: Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program. Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist, or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP). Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) National Board of Respiratory Care required prior to the expiration of the Temporary Practice Permit (TPP). CPR
