What Are We Looking For?

Hyro is seeking a healthcare leader to define and elevate our clinical product strategy at the intersection of clinical informatics, enterprise software, and responsible AI. The ideal candidate is a physician who has served as a CMIO, VP of Clinical Informatics, or C-level Health IT leader within a U.S. health system, bringing deep expertise in clinical workflows, enterprise technology evaluation, EHR integration, and digital transformation. You will shape product direction, represent clinical excellence to customers, and ensure Hyro’s AI agents meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and effectiveness. You will also help Hyro navigate the realities of enterprise healthcare, guiding stakeholders through the buyer journey, overcoming organizational complexity, and bridging startup engineering velocity with the structured processes of large health systems.

Responsibilities

Define and own Hyro’s clinical product strategy , ensuring AI agents meet clinical-grade standards for

accuracy, safety, and workflow alignment .

Serve as Hyro’s

senior clinical authority

with CMIOs, CIOs, CMOs, call center leaders, and

digital transformation executives

across enterprise health systems.

Lead

clinical workflow mapping

and establish best practices for

automation across access, patient engagement, population health, and contact center operations . Partner with Product and Engineering to translate clinical requirements into scalable features and

inform the roadmap

based on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging AI standards.

Guide

clinical discovery, validation, pilot design , measurement, and integration strategies for major

EHR and CTI platforms

(Epic, Cerner, Genesys, Cisco, etc.).

Represent Hyro as a

clinical thought leader

through events, webinars, executive briefings, and advisory groups; support

enterprise procurement cycles

and strategic evaluations.

Develop

clinical whitepapers, best-practice frameworks, evidence-based insights , and safety guidelines to support GTM and customer education.

Collaborate with

Sales, CS, and GTM teams

on strategic deals, expansions, pricing and packaging, marketing initiatives, partnership strategies, and

value tracking .

Lead Hyro’s

Clinical Customer Advisory Board

and support analyst, investor, and industry initiatives.

Engage with US

regulatory and governance bodies

to ensure alignment with evolving policies and standards.

Requirements

MD or DO degree

with clinical training and extensive experience in US healthcare delivery,

former CMIO, VP Clinical Informatics , or equivalent Health IT leadership role in a US health system.

Proven experience

evaluating, deploying, or governing enterprise platforms

(Epic, Cerner, CTI/CCaaS such as Genesys/Cisco, CRM, or digital engagement tools) with a deep understanding of

clinical workflows

across ambulatory, inpatient, and patient engagement settings.

Demonstrated leadership in

digital transformation, AI/automation initiatives , and clinical technology strategy, with familiarity in

HIPAA/PHI, safety frameworks , and U.S. regulatory environments.

Strong

communication skills and executive presence , with comfort engaging health system

C-suite stakeholders .

Willingness to

travel within the US

2–3 times per quarter.

Advantages:

Experience shaping or contributing to product strategy in digital health or enterprise software.

Background in call center operations, scheduling workflows, patient access, or clinical operations optimization.

This is a hybrid role, with at least 3 days in the NYC office. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Offered rate of compensation (NY locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $260,000 annually. The range provided is for NY-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than NY may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
