Overview As a Store Sales Associate Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales to achieve store targets.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership: supervise and motivate a team of sales associates, schedule and assign tasks, conduct performance evaluations, and assist in training.
Customer Service: greet customers, provide product knowledge, resolve complaints, and maintain a clean sales floor.
Sales and Target Achievement: engage customers, meet or exceed sales targets, monitor trends, and collaborate with the store manager to develop strategies.
Inventory Management: receive and replenish merchandise, perform inventory counts, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail management is a plus.
Proven experience in a retail sales role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems.
