3x12 hour night shifts
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced
Stepdown RN
for a 13‑week travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI. This position offers flexibility, as the traveler will be placed on a unit where the greatest need exists—whether it’s
PCU
or
Med/Surg Telemetry —based on your skills. We welcome
Stepdown
or
Med/Surg RNs
with strong acute care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care for patients in PCU or Med/Surg Telemetry units.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
Experience Requirements:
2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience – Required
Ability to float between PCU and Med/Surg Telemetry units based on need.
Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
License/Certification Requirements:
Active RN License (Wisconsin or compact state).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Ideal Candidate:
Adaptable and comfortable working in multiple unit settings.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in high-acuity environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
