Infosys is seeking an
Oracle Database Administrator . This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other engineers and subject matter experts.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY; Burlington, VT; or Hartford, CT, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 – U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents and certain refugees and asylees.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
At least 4 years of experience in project life cycle activities on support and maintenance projects.
At least 4 years of Oracle Database Administration experience (primary skill) and MS SQL DBA skill (secondary).
Perform installation, infrastructure testing, configuration, patching, upgrade, migration and administration of Oracle databases 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c and MS SQL Server 2008R2 and above.
Provide support for troubleshooting and maintenance of databases using Oracle and SQL Server technologies.
Install and configure packaged vendor‑based systems.
Implement and upgrade database management systems as business needs demand.
Administer database security according to documented procedures.
Perform periodic database maintenance: patching, regular backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery tests.
Monitor database performance and fine‑tune databases as needed.
Work with replication tools such as Dataguard, RMAN, Goldengate and SQL Server Always‑on availability to maintain disaster recovery environments.
Provide ongoing support on database issues and ticket management as defined in Working Practices.
Provide after‑hours and on‑call support to critical databases.

Estimated Annual Compensation
Malta, NY: $66,140 to $85,249
Burlington, VT: $71,693 to $93,201
