Requirements
Previous experience in automotive parts or inventory management preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail with commitment to accuracy.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Must be at least 18 years of age with valid driver’s license.
Multitask, able to effectively communicate with others, oral and written.
Able to understand instructions, written estimates & parts orders.
Visual determines accuracy of parts & work assigned to.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ordering parts from preferred vendors, keeping vendors held responsible with delivery dates and quality of parts.
Assisting technicians & estimators in identifying, sourcing, and purchasing parts for vehicles in a timely manner.
Check in, label and distribute parts to technicians when needed.
Verify & inspect correctness of parts & quality.
Post & scan parts invoices.
Track incomplete order status daily (Backorders, outstanding orders & credits).
Pickup & deliver parts as necessary.
Keep workstation & parts room clean & organized.
Perform other duties possibly needed to complete repairs in the body shop with office staff and technicians.
