Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will provide Structural Engineering support to design and construction oversight for Facilities Design and Construction projects for a prominent DoD customer.
Responsibilities:
Independently develop and/or supervise the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.
Define the problem, establish the work scope, prepare the budget and schedule, plan the work, provide technical direction, and report the work status.
Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or act as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project.
Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designers/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
This role will support the completion of a wide range of Structural Engineering assignments related to the design, construction and/or renovation of existing office buildings, data center facilities and associated infrastructure at an existing DoD campus. These will include tasks such as analysis of technical issues, review of technical documents (development of scopes of work—SOWs, design reviews, submittal reviews, RFI reviews, etc.), performance of field inspections, and development of technical papers.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS, Civil/Structural Engineering
5 or more years of experience in the design and construction review of civil/structural elements for office buildings, support buildings, data centers and/or associated infrastructure
State of Utah Professional Engineer registration
Good communication and analytical skills
Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office Suite of word processing and integrated software applications
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred. If not held, willingness to process for this level of clearance is required.
Must be US Citizen

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
