Over-the-Road Truck Driver
Wieland is hiring a Over-the-Road Truck Driver. The Over-the-Road Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting raw materials and manufactured products across the United States and the globe, and we're looking for an experienced CDL driver to make over-the-road deliveries across the country! This role is located out of our Granite City, IL location and Over-the-Road drivers pick up/delivers loads to transport across the United States. Hourly Pay Range: $32/hr - $45/hr with a $0.55 - $0.70 CPM Work Schedule: Flexible Pay Schedule: Weekly At Wieland, we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based upon various factors unique to each individual that may include but are not limited to years of experience, industry knowledge, technical skills, education, qualifications, etc. Responsibilities
Over-the-Road Truck Driver Responsibilities: Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues with correct documentation. Comply with DOT rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents, or violations. Ability to ensure trailers are locked out and chocked before loading/unloading. Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations. Maintains contact with supervisor, dispatcher, scale house operator to receive work instructions. Work in a timely, safe, and responsible manner to meet customer or company requirements.
