Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truck Assembly & Disassembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling new truck units and disassembling trucks for repair, modification, or part recovery. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on mechanical experience and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities
Assemble truck bodies, frames, and components according to technical specifications and blueprints Disassemble truck units safely and systematically for repair, inspection, or salvage Install or remove parts such as axles, fuel tanks, fenders, suspensions, hitches, and other components Route and secure wiring, hoses, and cables during assembly or teardown Operate hand tools, power tools, hoists, and forklifts as needed Inspect parts for wear, damage, or defects during disassembly and report findings Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow company safety protocols and quality standards Assist other team members or departments as needed Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus) 1–2 years of mechanical or assembly experience (truck or heavy equipment preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, or manuals Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of truck systems Basic cutting Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various physical positions Valid driver's license preferred; CDL a plus
