Candidate must be able to deliver quality customer service to our guests and their owners by possessing leadership, enthusiasm, good physical condition, determination, and willingness to learn, and have a genuine interest in the Pet Care profession. ESSENTIAL TASKS: Perform dog and cat brush and baths, mini and full grooms Perform nail trimming and grinding Recognizing various skin conditions and reporting them to Owner Using proper bathing techniques using appropriate shampoos & coat conditioners Use all grooming and bathing equipment competently Maintain grooming equipment Clean grooming salon and holding rooms QUALIFICATIONS: Perform dog and cat brush and baths, mini and full grooms Bathing and clipping dogs to conform to a variety of breed-specific standard styles Using proper bathing techniques and using appropriate shampoos and coat conditioners Detangling and removing matted hair Drying the coat Checking for parasites and other skin conditions Perform nail trimming and grinding Cleaning the ears Expressing anal sacs Brushing teeth Using all grooming and bathing equipment competently Clean grooming salon and holding rooms PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Be in good physical condition Requires handling of animals over 90 lbs.
