About the Role You will provide early intervention services including developmental therapy, screening, special instruction, coordination, linkage, advocacy, and support to children who are developmentally delayed, at risk, or diagnosed with a developmental disability. Services are delivered

in families’ homes or virtually , depending on needs. You will design learning activities and environments that promote cognitive, social, and motor development, and support families with tools and resources to continue learning at home.

What You’ll Do

Conduct developmental screenings and assessments

Develop, review, and amend Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with families and providers

Assist families in achieving and measuring IFSP outcomes

Plan and implement

play-based therapy sessions using toys, adaptive equipment, and sensory tools

Facilitate referrals to additional services and community resources

Support families through our

loaning library of therapy resources

Participate in community education and transition planning for families

Maintain professional documentation and uphold Early Intervention standards

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Special Education, or DHS-required field

Required coursework per DHS standards

Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and social services

Previous experience with children who have special needs preferred

Pursue and maintain Developmental Therapy credential through Early Intervention System

Valid Illinois driver’s license & insurance
