We are Now Hiring a
Full-time Employment Specialist
in
San Antonio, TX
to coach persons with developmental disabilities and prepare them for employment. The Employment Specialist will develop essential job skills for persons with disabilities and assist in job placement.
Must have Employment service (Job Skills and Job Placement) credentials from UNTWISE
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Provide the necessary assistance for people with disabilities to be placed in competitive employment.
Coach the person with disabilities to develop independent job skills.
Work side-by-side with persons with disabilities at job sites.
Reinforce essential skills, or teach new skills such as developing a resume, conducting a successful job interview, and completing a job application.
Accurately complete all documentation.
Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Untwise Credentials of Job Skills training and Job Placement
Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
