Job Summary The Commercial Framing Foreman performs the same essential functions as a Journeyman Steel Stud Framer along with supervising employees on the job site. Must be able to read blueprints, do layouts, lead a crew, provide crew members with technical advice, and coordinate material and manpower with the Project Manager. Responsibilities
Read blueprints and execute precise layouts.
Lead and manage a crew of framers and workers on the job site.
Provide technical guidance and advice to crew members.
Coordinate material, manpower, and schedules with the Project Manager.
Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
Travel as needed, with some jobs requiring overnight stays.
Qualifications
Prefer 3 or more years of experience as a framer.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record for operating commercial vehicles.
Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel stud framing.
Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
Strong leadership and effective communication skills for supervising a crew.
A forward‑thinker who manages own time and the time of employees under supervision.
