This is an opportunity to join a clinician-led team with over 40 years of combined experience in behavioral health. With clinics across the southeast, Apogee Behavioral Medicine is leading the way in creating access in communities with limited behavioral health options. As an independently contracted remote therapist, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy services in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. · Remote-Only Flexibility: All 1099 contract roles are fully remote—work from anywhere within your licensed state. · Practice Autonomy: Set your own hours and caseload to fit your lifestyle and availability. · Clinical Collaboration: Engage virtually with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and APPs. · Admin Support: We provide scheduling, billing, and technology assistance so you can focus on providing psychotherapy services. · Compensation: Competitive fee-for-service rate based on completed sessions · Growth-Oriented: Expand your caseload over time or specialize in populations that match your clinical strengths. Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches via secure telehealth platforms. Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate virtually with an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and APPs, to coordinate patient care. Participate in new provider orientation and clinical team meetings. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EHR system. Practice standard of care for the delivery of psychotherapy services. Appropriately refer patients internally for medication management, psychotherapy, and other needed treatment modalities. The above responsibilities are not all inclusive of this role’s responsibilities. Qualifications
· Active, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in the state where services are delivered. · Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. · Must be fully licensed to practice independently (no provisional or associate licensure). · Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient psychotherapy preferred. · Tech-savvy with comfort using EHR systems and HIPAA-compliant video platforms. · Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories of mental illness & related issues. · Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care. · Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. · Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills. · Reliable high-speed internet and private, secure workspace for telehealth. · Ability to provide at least 20 hours per week of direct patient care.
