Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will specialize in corporate and commercial contracts as well as litigation support, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in managing complex legal documentation and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and summarize commercial contracts for accuracy and compliance.
Draft, proofread, and ensure the quality of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
Support contract renegotiation processes and assist with revisions.
Organize, scan, profile, and retrieve documents using multiple databases.
Maintain and manage the legal file database and filing systems.
Assist with litigation, arbitration, and subpoena-related documentation.
Provide support in document intake and workflow processing.
Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports for the legal team.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and ensure timely follow‑ups.
Handle file organization and documentation to ensure compliance with legal procedures.
Qualifications
Licensed Paralegal; college degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and general office procedures in a legal department.
Familiarity with litigation, arbitration, and subpoenas.
Experience in drafting contract documents and supporting corporate legal matters.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strongly prefer candidates with advanced legal research skills and software experience (e.g., Law Desk, LexisNexis).
Excellent organizational skills and ability to utilize multiple databases effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to write well and present effectively.
Detail‑oriented with strong proofreading skills.
Ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Proactive problem‑solving and workflow management.
Professional demeanor with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
