Summary The Server Attendant supports the waitstaff by setting and cleaning tables, enabling staff to focus on delivering fine-dining service to guests.
Job Functions
Assist servers by maintaining menu presentation and table setting; replenish utensils and water glasses as needed.
Interact with staff at all levels in a fast‑paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and professional.
Ensure a spotless service and meet guests’ needs and expectations to the highest level.
Maintain equipment, report defects to the Restaurant Manager, and arrange for repairs.
Communicate effectively with the restaurant manager, servers, and host/hostess to ensure an enjoyable and effortless guest experience.
Must be TIPS certified or meet similar state requirements.
Follow Stillwell's food and beverage standards and procedures.
Perform all duties safely and monitor others’ actions.
Remain pleasant, hospitable, and attentive to guests at all times.
Physical Demands
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Sanitation and Equipment
Maintain strict compliance with state sanitation/health regulations and HH requirements.
Ensure proper storage procedures as specified by the Health Department and restaurant requirements.
Instruct staff in the correct usage and care of all kitchen machinery, emphasizing safety.
Adhere to all sanitation and safety policies.
Meetings & Communication
Be available for any restaurant mandatory meeting or training.
Ensure smooth communication with direct reports and other restaurant managers/supervisors.
Attire, Language, and Behavior
Always neatly dressed and groomed, speaking according to HHG Division and Harwood International standards.
Treat all associates with respect and consideration, regardless of position or tasks.
