About The Role The Maintenance Technician diagnoses issues, makes repairs, ensures all resident service requests and community maintenance is completed promptly. You may receive a $500 net sign‑on bonus.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide maintenance support for property HVA, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
Ensure successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies.
Deliver resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
Work a rotating on‑call schedule to provide 24/7 coverage.
Who We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED.
1–3 years of maintenance experience.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Basic knowledge of at least one discipline: electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
Ability to make repairs to resident homes to company standards within time limits.
Quick learning ability.
Certifications relevant to the region obtained within 9 months of employment or promotion (e.g., EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair).
Required training courses completed within one year of hire or promotion.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license with safe driving record.
Typical Physical Demands Regularly use hands to manipulate tools and equipment; frequently stand, reach, climb ladders, lift up to 50–75 lbs. Sit and stand for clerical work.
Typical Work Conditions Work performed in and outside a maintenance/machinery environment and residential properties; frequent direct interaction with residents and staff.
