
Managing Partner / Sales Engineer at EOX Sales

EOX is a growing, independent manufacturer’s representative firm of
seven professionals
serving the
aerospace, defense, space, commercial, and research/university

The sales engineer will represent EOX's manufacturers, promoting advanced RF/microwave and fiber optic electronic components, interconnects and systems solutions across a diverse customer base.
Success in this position requires initiative, strong technical communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across multiple levels of an organization.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
due to export compliance and customer requirements.
Essential Job Functions:
Identify, investigate, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities
for EOX using effective, ethical sales practices. Develop strategic plans, tactics, and target customer lists to achieve growth goals.
Call on and meet with customers
across aerospace, defense, space, commercial, and research/university environments to promote the products and technologies of our represented manufacturers.
Drive sales growth
within the assigned market and account base (to be determined based on experience and location).
Develop and execute strategies
to close opportunities and expand market share.
Collaborate closely with principals , providing regular updates on opportunities, customer needs, feedback and technology roadmaps.
Maintain strong technical knowledge
of product lines, applications, and emerging technologies.
Establish and maintain relationships
with engineering, procurement, management, and executive decision-makers.
Travel throughout Texas
to present and promote EOX and its manufacturers’ products to both existing and target accounts.
Participate in national and local trade shows , supporting EOX and our principal partners.
Monitor industry trends
through research, events, and publications; maintain awareness of competitive products and evolving market conditions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required ; Engineering or Technical degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or RF/microwave focus ideal.
Prior experience in RF/microwave, fiber optic or electronic system components/interconnects
preferred. Experience with Military, Aerospace or Research sectors is highly valued.
Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships
with customers and principals.
Comfortable working directly with engineers
on detailed technical requirements and specifications.
Highly organized and detail-oriented , with effective time-management skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English , both technical and conversational.
Self-motivated and disciplined , capable of thriving in a flexible, largely self-directed role that rewards initiative and consistent performance.
