Field Account Representative for Healthcare Accounts
As a Field Account Representative (FAR) you will be responsible for selling MRO supplies and healthcare products to an established portfolio of customers to maintain and grow sales. This position offers a competitive base salary plus sales incentive bonus, laptop, cell phone, and mileage reimbursement.
Territories: Wellesley, Weston, Wayland, Hopkinton, Ashland, Hudson, Natick.
Preferred Qualifications
3–5+ years of B2B field sales experience with a proven ability to meet or exceed goals in a field environment.
Dynamic sales professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to quickly establish trust and credibility – often within the first few seconds of a customer interaction.
Experience in Healthcare Sales or familiarity with healthcare industry products is a plus.
Expert at building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
Capable of developing and executing a strategic sales plan to support and grow an existing customer base.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, Salesforce, or similar CRM.
Job Summary Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging markets to meet yearly sales goals. Requires operation of a personal vehicle more than 20% of the average work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all levels.
Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers.
Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels to foster relationships and collaborative partnerships.
Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing input for effective sales strategies.
Attend monthly business meetings for company-sponsored associations, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities.
Nature and Scope
Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques to resolve issues in complex research/data.
Work requires independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems.
May provide general guidance or train junior-level support personnel.
Work Environment
Regular exposure to moderate physical discomfort: dust, fumes, odors.
Mostly sitting or standing/walking; may lift moderate weight (8–20 pounds).
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education And Experience
BS/BA in a related discipline; 2–5 years of related experience or MS/MA with 2–4 years of experience.
Certification required in certain areas.
Pay Range $58,900.00–$85,500.00 annually.
