Responsibilities

Complete our award-winning company-paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route to become a Pro Prioritize safety in all responsibilities Drive a company vehicle and follow a route schedule within the assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening to and understanding their needs and utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solution Prepare and install home or business services (e.g., attic remediations, crawlspace encapsulations, gutter protection, radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency) Interact with customers in their home or business by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction Complete all required service-related documentation using the provided handheld device for speed and accuracy

Qualifications

No Experience Required

– we’ll train you to be a Pro High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license required Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid) Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes

Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the duties with or without accommodations: Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity Lift and carry up to 50 lbs Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator Willing to work in different weather conditions
