We are seeking a Specialty Sales Consultant for our Alfasigma USA Nutrition business focused on prescription supplements for the St. Louis territory.

Alfasigma is a privately held global healthcare company founded over 75 years ago in Italy, operating in more than 100 markets worldwide. The U.S. affiliate, Alfasigma USA, is headquartered in Morristown, NJ, with a manufacturing plant in Shreveport, LA, a remote mail‑order pharmacy call center, and a national sales force. Our mission is to improve the health and quality of life of patients by delivering innovative solutions across the G.I. health, rare disease, and specialty segments.

Base Pay Range $85,000.00/yr – $130,000.00/yr (base salary, subject to performance and bonus potential).

Job Function Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Sales)

Key Responsibilities

Understand and execute on Alfasigma USA strategy and plans at the prescriber level.

Utilize effective selling skills and product knowledge to influence targeted healthcare providers to prescribe ALUSA promoted products with appropriate patients, executing brand strategies for consistent sales and marketing messages.

Develop and execute account and territory plans/strategy based on key physician/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample management.

Support targeted customers using approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities/programs.

Leverage market and customer data to inform strategic business planning.

Develop and maintain relationships with HCPs in the territory and establish relationships with pertinent medical institutions.

Represent Alfasigma USA to select key opinion leaders (KOLs) to educate on product benefits through approved clinical studies and other support material.

Meet call plan expectations and achieve territory sales goals in a compliant manner.

Execute remote effective call selling (via approved company emails, phone calls, video calls) when face‑to‑face calls are restricted.

Actively participate in scheduled company sales meetings, district and regional conference calls, and other business meetings as required.

Meet all administrative requirements including budget management, sample management, expense reporting, and complete all required training as directed by sales management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

At least two years of outside sales experience; B2B or life sciences preferred.

Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales or customer service position.

Strong understanding of fundamental selling skills and their application to engaging with customers.

Strong business and financial acumen and the ability to understand market opportunities.

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Office 365 preferred).

Experience with CRM software and iPad utilization.

Must be available to travel up to 25–30% or as required by the specific territory.

Must reside within the territory or within reasonable driving distance (25 miles or less) to ensure effective management and coverage of the territory.
