Thornberry Creek at Oneida is located in Oneida, WI. Nestled atop one of the highest peaks in Brown County and located just outside of Green Bay, Thornberry Creek at Oneida offers 27 holes of championship golf at its finest. An abundance of vistas and amenities will excite golfers and guests of all ages and abilities. The two golf courses - both designed by Rick Jacobson - feature bent grass tees, fairways, and greens, and the varied landscape gives golfers a unique experience from hole to hole, from a forested "Northwoods" type setting at the start and finish of the Legends Course, to the prairie or meadow type environment in the middle holes as you play your way through one of Green Bay’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Other amenities of the facility include a spacious and comfortable Sports Pub & Grill, meeting rooms, and several banquet facilities. Experience Required

Previous golf experience is preferred but not required. If not already enrolled in the PGA Associate Program, must have aspirations to do so. Essential Responsibilities

Desired start date - April 1st. Desired end date - November 15th. Can be flexible on dates dependent on potential winter employment. Work with golf staff members to develop and maintain an outstanding facility Oversee the outside operations team including, but not limited to scheduling, managing and supply control. Assist Head Golf Professional with tee sheet operation. Assist Head Golf Professional with golf outing preparation. Assist Head Golf Professional with running of leagues. Complete golf league check-ins. Collaborates with golf course league representatives to ensure a good working relationship. Calculate league results. Strong knowledge of golf product use, functionality, and quality, as well as apparel to assist customers with selection of equipment and supplies to improve their quality of play. Assist in managing the Golf Pro Shop including: Opening and/or closing procedures. Provide input on the display of golf shop merchandise. Monitor the quantity of goods and materials on stock. Conduct lessons for course guests, teaching the etiquette and game of golf to players of all ages. Ensure completion of daily reports of all transactions and ensures funds collected are properly handled. Communicates verbally as well as in writing to customers on a daily basis to satisfy guest complaints and questions to ensure guest satisfaction. Receive and record necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions for the golf course. Perform other duties as assigned. Benefits
