Security Systems Sales Associate – Commercial, SLED, Federal in the Tampa, FL area. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. Responsibilities
Identify and engage with contractors to promote Structured Cabling, Safety, and Fire Alarm Divisions. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, end users, and government entities. Understand project requirements and provide suitable solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate and competitive project quotes. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations. Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Monitor project bidding opportunities and actively pursue projects for our divisions. Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and progress to the Sales Manager. Qualifications
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant experience. NICET certification preferred. Experience Requirements: Proven sales experience in the construction industry with a focus on contractors, end users, and government entities. Familiarity with the construction trade bidding process and project lifecycle. Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations. Knowledge of electrical, cabling, safety, fire alarm, and networking solutions.
