Job Summary
iCare Elder Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to join our team in providing individualized care and support to elderly individuals in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. This is a Part Time - hourly Other job, with a compensation of $17 per hour. As an individual contributor, the Direct Care Worker will play a crucial role in promoting the well‑being and independence of our clients.

Responsibilities
Provide direct assistance and support to clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary and nutritional needs
Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well‑being to a supervisor
Follow care plans and update them as needed
Adhere to all safety protocols and standards
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a home care setting is preferred
Must have a current CPR/First Aid certification
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly individuals
Basic knowledge of personal care and hygiene practices
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
