The Dietary Aid is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of meals to our residents, ensuring that dietary needs are met in a safe, clean, and respectful environment. This role plays an important part in enhancing residents' dining experiences and supporting their nutritional well-being. Key Responsibilities Meal Preparation and Service : Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences. Cleanliness and Sanitation : Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols. Resident Interaction : Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude. Compliance : Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience : Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role is a plus, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting. Skills : Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
