Sr. Mechanical Engineer
for a growing company in the
commercial and industrial building engineering
industry. Qualified candidates must have a
Professional Engineer (PE) license, 10+ years of experience designing building mechanical systems, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM . Apply now for immediate consideration.
Job Description Design building mechanical systems (HVAC) including system concepts, calculations, energy modeling, layout, sizing, selections, specifications, and coordination.
Perform site visits to evaluate existing mechanical systems or inspect work in progress.
Prepare engineering reports and documentation.
Review and respond to team members on project design work, RFIs, submittals, and other construction-related documents in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor and control project progress against scope, schedule, and budget.
Attend client meetings and support project planning and proposal efforts.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers while contributing to team collaboration.
Requirements
Licensed
Professional Engineer (PE)
– Michigan preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar field
10+ years of experience designing building mechanical systems
Proficiency in
AutoCAD and Revit/BIM
Experience with building energy modeling concepts and software preferred
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary project teams
