As an HR Generalist for Phoenix Spirit Group, you will play an important role in supporting daily HR operations across multiple branch locations in North Carolina. This position focuses on assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and maintaining compliance with HR policies and procedures. You will help ensure accurate recordkeeping, provide guidance on routine HR questions, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. This is a hands‑on role that requires adaptability and strong organizational skills as the company continues to grow. What You'll Be Doing Partner closely with branch managers to lead and manage all employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and resolving workplace issues effectively. Oversee and ensure compliance with HR processes and policies, providing training and guidance to branch managers to maintain consistent and fair practices. Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic HR initiatives and align HR practices with organizational goals. Take an active, hands‑on role in day‑to‑day HR operations, including employee support, maintaining and updating records, policy administration, etc. Serve as a resource and advisor to branch managers and field staff, helping navigate employee issues and promoting a positive workplace culture. Help resolve routine employee relations issues and escalate complex matters as needed. Support the onboarding process for new hires, documentation, orientation, and initial training. Conduct regular internal audits of HR processes, employee files, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. What We're Looking For Experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee support, with a solid understanding of HR processes and compliance basics. Ability to collaborate effectively with managers and team members to ensure HR policies and procedures are understood and followed. Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist employees with questions and provide clear guidance on HR matters. What you'll need Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). HR certification (SHRM or PHR) is a plus but not required. Approximately 3 years of HR experience, with exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and employee support. Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to assist employees and collaborate with managers. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is helpful but not required.
