SAIC is seeking a
Senior Systems Integrator
for the shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.
This position is contingent upon award news, expected early 2026.
Duties
Perform Systems Integration support for stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution project for C5ISR systems
Plan and delivery of high-quality Systems Integration deliverables including contract CDRLS in support of program requirements
Develop, update, and maintain project Systems integration documents including stage 4 and 5 test procedures, ICDs, Block Diagrams, schematics, technical and operational manuals for C5ISR systems
Communicate to assigned Project Manager all key project systems integration plans, and engineering changes including requirements, C5ISR systems configurations and status, schedule, and scope changes
Assess engineering change proposals and document risks and impacts to project milestones and deliverables
Support the proactive identification and mitigation of risks
Works with the multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful shipboard industrial test procedures development and testing
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more relevant experience with one or more C5ISR systems: radio communication racks, Interior Communications (Alarm/Safety/Warning), shipboard CGOne/ Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, Integrated Bridge System; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
Required Security Clearance
Must have an active Secret clearance on first day of employment
Required Certification
Cybersecurity Workforce Level II cert i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP and a Vendor operating system certification: i.e. Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, or Linux - Or must be willing to obtain/pass certifications within 180 days of hire
Desired Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience providing support for a shipyard environment project
Familiar with C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, schematics, and Functional Interface Drawings
Experience with MIL-STD-2106 Development of Shipboard Industrial Test procedures
Experience with Risk Management Framework process to attain Authority To Operate
Desired/Key C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, and/or C6ISR Shipboard Systems:
Integrated Bridge System
Gyrocompass (e.g., WSN-7)
Surface Search Radars (e.g., AN/SPY-6, SPS-series)
UHF, HF, VHF Marine Radios
