Responsibilities
Provide supervision to dietary/kitchen team and support the Executive Chef.
Assist in controlling food costs.
Help maintain controls and security of all food items and supplies in storage.
Enforce policies and procedures of all meal production, preparation, and coordination.
Manage meal service: receive, rotate, and inventory products; ensure regulatory compliance; and maintain correct portioning and plate presentation of all menu items.
Record and maintain Food Safety Equipment and Temperature records.
Perform inventory rotation (FIFO) and secure food and supplies in correct storage areas.
Qualifications
Two (2) years of Sous Chef experience.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Must hold a current Food Services Sanitation certificate.
Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Demonstrated good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Availability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
