How You’ll Make an Impact
Design and develop mechanical components for distribution transformers using 2D and 3D software.
Lead and participate in customer specification and design reviews.
Prepare technical reports and documentation to meet internal and external standards.
Provide timely engineering support across departments and respond to customer inquiries.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet industry standards.
Support vendor development and qualification of new parts.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, or similar 3D modeling software.
Familiarity with industrial standards and design practices.
Knowledge of pad‑mounted transformers (preferred).
Experience with IEEE and CSA standards for distribution transformers (preferred).
