Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Alphanumeric is hiring a CIVIL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

to join an environmentally focused energy innovator committed to advancing sustainable, efficient solutions. This role will support new project initiatives with a strong emphasis on civil and structural design. The Civil / Structural Engineer will lead engineering design and analysis efforts, contributing to the development of innovative structures including support frames, concrete foundations, and equipment enclosures. This individual will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure all designs are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with applicable codes, standards, budgets, and schedules. Key Responsibilities

Perform and review engineering design and structural analysis for steel structures and concrete foundations. Collect, review, and integrate design requirements from customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams. Prepare and review engineering technical requirements to support project proposals and bid strategies. Review customer specifications and develop technical clarifications and deviations as needed. Prepare and review project budgets, bids, technical requirements, and commercial documentation. Develop and manage project deliverable schedules, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion. Collaborate with suppliers to develop budgets, estimates, and technical inputs. Ensure structural interface information—including arrangements and foundation details—meets all requirements. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate design interface details for structural components. Identify and implement corrective actions to reduce nonconformances and improve quality. Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions. Ensure completion of all assigned projects within schedule, budget, and applicable engineering codes and standards. Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BS) in Civil Engineering required. Minimum of

5 years

of experience in civil, structural, or related engineering disciplines. Licensed

Professional Engineer (PE)

strongly preferred—especially candidates with experience in gas turbine systems, auxiliary systems, nuclear engineering, or rotating equipment foundation design. Strong knowledge of:

ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 360, ACI 318, OSHA Familiarity with

AISC 341, ACI 351, DIN 4024, ISO 1940

is a plus. Ability to travel up to

10% .

Software Experience Desired

Smart Plant 3D / Revit

- Experience with integrated 3D design environments and generating detailed technical outputs. STAAD / SAP2000 / GT Strudl

- Familiarity with structural design and analysis tools. AutoCAD / MicroStation

- Experience with 2D CAD drafting platforms.
