Responsibilities Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers. Perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between, solve problems, and build trusted relationships ensuring homes and families are protected.

Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.

Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.

Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by utilizing the in‑depth training provided to recommend the best innovative overall pest solution for each customer’s needs.

Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.

Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products and services can give them peace of mind.

Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home.

Make recommendations based on inspection and issues identified, addressing any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations.

Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

No experience required.

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).

Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.

Work Environment

Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

Will work in different types of weather conditions.
