Responsibilities
Collaborate with the architectural team to execute design projects with a steadfast commitment to accuracy and detail
Adhere to established guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards
Approach design tasks methodically, focusing on delivering consistently reliable results
Communicate in a clear and straightforward manner

Provide drafting support for various project types within the schematic design team
Assist in the project design and preliminary design approval processes
Develop innovative design concepts for projects
Prepare presentations and design drawings
Document projects according to firm standards
Research municipal codes, zoning ordinances, and other relevant development regulations
Convert sketched details, sections, and notes into working drawing sheets
Draft floor plans and elevation drawings
Assist in organizing and preparing for presentation meetings
Maintain regular correspondence with supervisors and the design team
Take direction from senior design staff and effectively follow through with minimal supervision
Organize data tables containing information such as square footage, acreage, and parking counts
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and Revit, to produce accurate and precise drawings.
Requirements
Associate degree or certificate in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Drafter or in architectural design
Ability to work independently on architectural design tasks with moderate supervision
Experience working on architectural projects, from space planning to construction
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in fast‑paced project turnaround environments
Remote work experience (including tools like Teams and screen sharing)
Familiarity with space programming
Proficient in Autodesk and Revit
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to architectural and construction documentation
