REDFORD LATERAL POLICE OFFICER POSITION OPENINGS

The Redford Township is seeking qualified, lateral applicants for the full-time Police Officer positions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Current Police Officer COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Lateral hires are credited for each full year of service at a previous agency:

1 year: $57,820 2 years: $62,525 3 years: $67,373 4 years: $74,176 Top Pay: $77,929 (4/1/25)

$4,500 Bonus Pay each year, 2023-2024. 3% Yearly Incentive Pay. Gun & Uniform Allowances: $1,000 each. 26 Vacation Days, 4 Personal Days, Sick Days, and Paid Holidays. Defined Benefit Pension w/ 5% contribution; 2.5% multiplier after 25 years. Deferred Retirement Option Plan (D.R.O.P.) College Tuition Reimbursement. 12-Hour Shifts; 2-week cycle (5 and 2). Retirement HSA, employee 1.5%, Township match 1.5%. Apply Online
