Ideal candidates live in Long Island (Nassau / Suffolk County), but we welcome applicants from all areas of Metro New York! Candidates should be available to work events during Thursdays-Saturdays between 4 pm-12 am. Events typically last 2-4 hours. The starting hourly rate is $35+ / hr, with potential increases up to $40+ / hr based on skills. Additional opportunities are available for those willing to serve as our eyes and ears in the market. POSITION OVERVIEW :
MKTG Brand Ambassadors are enthusiastic brand advocates who educate consumers about high-profile brands during on-, off-, and experiential events. They deliver safe, engaging experiences and assist consumers in making informed brand choices. Their goal is to reinforce and increase brand awareness through active engagement at purchase and experience points. They embody and humanize the brands they represent, building consumer trust through product knowledge and education.
Responsibilities include engaging consumers to recognize, prefer, and purchase our client brands. We seek personable, friendly, and professional Brand Educators who participate in promotional events and complete online training to gain extensive brand knowledge. They must pass exams and deliver a final 2-3 minute presentation to represent brands effectively at events.
This is an Occasional Employment Position. Hiring does not guarantee a set number of assignments. Brand Educators must sign all required forms and adhere to company policies and the NA Diageo Marketing Code.

$35+ per hour, plus mileage and expenses (if applicable) WORK SCHEDULE Thursday Afternoon / Evening Friday Afternoon / Evening Saturday Day / Evening Sunday Day Holidays RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in event management Set up and break down events Engage consumers in quality conversations about brands Distribute premium items as directed Troubleshoot challenges during events Build relationships with account staff Participate in training sessions and workshops Coordinate with Event Managers and peers Provide timely event feedback and reports Follow operational procedures and policies PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Engage and educate consumers at various points of experience Build trust and humanize brands through education Lead sampling journeys within legal and policy guidelines Complete digital training modules Use tech platforms for information management Arrive punctually, dressed appropriately, prepared for promotions Distribute premiums and follow responsible serving guidelines Pre-merchandise accounts with POS Manage expenses via company debit card Handle promotional materials and ensure proper return of property Complete post-event recaps and contribute to social media Report on competitive activity and maintain professional appearance QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21+ years old Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint Available for at least 20 hours per week Comfortable working in retail outlets Able to stand/walk for extended periods and carry heavy items Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outgoing personality with a passion for brand advocacy Previous promotional/marketing experience preferred Responsible, reliable, punctual Neat appearance Ability to work independently or as part of a team Legal authorization to work in the US, valid driver’s license, own transportation Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) encouraged to apply
